Our Favorite Picture Together As A Couple

A friend of mine was wondering why I never get to post about my lovelife in my personal blog. To be honest, beh (naks!) and I are not very comfortable about posting ourselves and our relationship for the world to see. Not that we are not proud of our relationship, its just not in our nature to be too showy, that's all...

Anyway, I was browsing our pictures in my celphone, and I came upon the one above. I realized that I forgot to have it printed and blown up to be framed. We were planning to hang it in our room, but we have totally forgotten about it.

We love this picture! Its cool and very romantic. This was taken last summer (May 2007).

Beh knew that I was dying to go to the beach last summer, since I was not satisfied with our summer get-away during the Holy Week and since my birthday was coming up at that time, he arranged for us to go to his lola's hometown as their relatives had a private beach house there. It was his birthday present to me.

It was the best summer I had and not to mention the best birthday present anyone has given me. Thank You Beh! Mwah!

I'll have this one developed the soonest so we can hang it in our room.

Dogs Have Birthdays Too!

Well, mine has birthdays. My dog celebrates her birthday today and now she is 1 year old though in dog years she is way past her toddler years and is now entering her early teens. Dalaga na po ang aking munting aso. Happy Birthday Meeka! Umwahugz!!!

I bought this 'lil shih-tzu when I went to Cagayan de Oro on a business trip. I was riding a motorela, a public utility vehicle that is a favorite means of transport of Cagayanons, and chanced upon some cute little puppies displayed by this pet shop, Iremarl. As during that time I was itching to get a hand on a pup, and as I must admit I am an impulse buyer by nature, I instantly bought Meeka. Luckily it wasn't that hard to secure her travel papers since her documents were complete at the time I bought her.

I love this dog and so does my family. Though at times she may be a bit bitchy (pun intended) and temparemental (which is ironic for her name), just like the owner, and the daily grooming sessions are a bit tedious at some point... nothing ever compares the joy that she brings to me. And admit it, PLU's resort to having dogs to compensate for the lack of love life. Admit it.

Happy Birthday again Baby!

(P.S. I am in a relationship for the longest time and did not buy this dog to fill my emptiness and longing for a relationship... Bleh!)

The Solution To Bad Hair Days

If there was one part in my body that I could change, it would be my hair. I hate it. Totally hate it. It's wavy... thick... and dry... Picture a coconut. Take away the shell and you're left with the husk. That is how I would describe my so-called "crowning glory." Not so glorious at all. And for PLU's its embarassing to be caught in a bad hair day.

I tried everything from applying gel or wax... dyed and redyed and added highlights to my hair... have my hair cut in very expensive salons and by well-trained stylists, add to that the time and effort to get a suitable schedule for your appointment with the stylist... Almost everything. But I still could not have that perfect hair... Huhuhuhu!!!

Maybe this product would help?

A Very Horny Girl Goes Manhunting

Here is something that might lift your spirits. As I was really feeling shitty at work today (and perhaps for the next few months, after expecting a promotion that was never given - you bet I'll be ranting 'bout this INJUSTICE in my next posts), I went Youtubing (there is no such word, i know... and don't even bother correcting me 'coz I'm not in the mood ok? kapeesh?) and came upon this very funny clip.

Vindication For ERAP After Being Found Guilty Of Plunder?

This blog is about my life - my sex, my lies, my politics. Not about rotting Philippine politics. My life's so messed up that I simply do not have the time and energy to write about all those trapos thriving in government right now. It would just give me stress and right now I think I just could not handle any form of stress.

However, today I won't be writing about my shennanigans and proceed to writing this post for recent events in Philippine politics will now be forever etched in our history books.

ERAP, GUILTY. Justice at last! 6 years before the Filipino people got a favorable verdict - guilty of plunder... Imagine! If you were nursing an EDSA 2 baby, he would be entering grade 1 by now... Imagine! But still, I thank the SandiganBayan for giving justice to the Filipino people and affirmation that our justice system, slow as it may be, still works. If you're reading this post right now, I want you to say it out loud... "Salamat SandiganBayan at kami'y inyong binigyan ng pag-asa"... And now ERAP, former Actionstar slash Philippine President slash Champion-of-the-masses, will be going to prison for the rest of his remaining life. From now on we shall refer to him as ERAP: THE INMATE.

I'm imagining it now... ERAP: the INMATE... The court did not grant him the vindication from his sins that he claims to have been seeking. Perhaps other means would do? And I think he can do it while in jail. Perhaps if he joins this...

... he could get the vindication he wants and perhaps restore dignity to our people? If you want to see the dancing inmate named ERAP, start na tayo ng signature campaign! Go go go na!!!

Eartha Kitt: The Most Exciting Woman In The World

sooooooooooooooooooooooooo adore Eartha Kitt!!! Singer. Actress. Gay Icon. And she loves PLU's:

Many celebrities have responded positively to being regarded as gay icons. Several have noted the loyalty of their gay fans; Eartha Kitt and Cher credited gay fans with keeping them going at times when their careers had faltered. from The Gay Book of Lists, 3rd Edition.

My father had this old phonograph and I used to play her LP Record when I'm bored at home. She's a great singer!!! Her voice has character. Up to now I still play her old vinyl record at home. Wierd as it may seem, in the age of cd's and mp3 players, I still prefer our old phonograph. In my next post I'll post a picture of her album, in it she sings a Filipino song! Its sooooo cool!!! Eartha Kitt my goddess knows a song from the Philippine islands. I guess I am what I am today 'coz of Eartha, Goddess.

For those of you who do not know this fabulous personality, at age 80, she is amazingly still very much active in showbusiness. Here are my top 3 favorite characters that Madam Kitt played of recent and not-so-recent times:

• Yzma in movies The Emperor's New Groove and Kronk's New Groove, Emperor's New School - the television series.




• Queen Vexus in Nickolodeon's My Life as a Teenage Robot.
  
  
• And Finally, the feisty Catwoman of Batman the Television Series in the '60's. Yes! She is the original Catwoman and can purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr like hell! I'll upload one video of her purrrrrrrrrrrring in my next posts to let let you hear what I mean.
